Kayak Camping Gear Guide – Tents
Camping grill from the kayak allows you to spend more time on the water exploring this amazing country, more time fishing remote areas and more time fishing the right tides, the peak bite times of dawn and dusk and allows you to stay there when the fish are biting. In each issue of BLADE we will look at a different category of camping products that are suitable for those camping and fishing from the yak.
In this issue we are looking at a selection of tents that are suitable for a kayak camper. Some of the key features of a tent include, pack size and weight, dimensions, configuration, ventilation, screens and construction. Once we have narrowed it down to a few options our selection may come down to the little things like colour, storage pockets and gear lofts, reflective strips and ropes or the inclusion of alloy pegs.
